All you need to do to set up your ping pong party is to make a list of everyone who wants to play. Then set up a tournament style of play. You make a list of everyone using whatever order you want. You can try to list people by ability with the better players last, but if you don't know how good people are, you can also set up your list in alphabetical order. The important thing is that you end up with a numbered list. Then, you start the party games by asking the player listed as number one to play player number two. Whomever wins that game stays at the table and then plays player number three. As long as someone keeps winning, they keep playing.

So an earlier player might get a lucky streak and play for awhile. However, as the player gets more tired, it will be harder and harder to keep winning. The winner of the whole ping pong party is the person who beats the player with the last number. So anything can happen. Let's say you have thirty people playing in your ping pong party. Now, player number one might win his first match. He might then win every single match until he faces off against player number thirty. If he loses, then player number thirty is considered the winner of the ping pong party -- even though he only played and won one game. Meanwhile, player number one who won twenty-eight games and lost one, ends up in second place!
